Page Layout:-The Page Layout Tab holds all the options that allow you to arrange your document pages just the way you want them. You can set margins, apply themes, control of page orientation and size, add sections and line breaks, display line numbers, and set paragraph indentation and lines.
Themes :-From the Page Layout tab, click the Theme Colors command. A drop-down menu will appear. ... Hover your mouse over the different sets of theme colors to see a live preview.Select the set of theme colors you want, or select Create New Theme Colors to customize each color individually.
Margins:-used to alter the tools from which we can change the properties of a page. The first tool is margins , used to alter the size of the margins for all of the margins for all of the in your document. A margin is the invisible space at the sides and top and bottom of your document that you cannot type into . Altering these margins allows you to have more less text on the page. Next tool is used to change the orientation of a page
Size:- Can put paper A4, A3, legal etc
Breaks:- The page can be divide into two part.
Line Numbers:-Can Put line Number
Hyphenation :- For automatic hyphenation select the Automatically hyphenate document check box.If you do not want to hyphenate words in uppercase letters, leave the Hyphenate Words in CAPS check box blank.
Watermark:-Click on the Page Layout tab.In the ribbon, click on Watermark. A vertical scroll list of six watermarks will appear (Confidential, Do Not Copy, Draft, Sample, ASAP and Urgent)Select the watermark that you wish to use.
Page Color:-Can Fill Color on the page
Page Borders:- Different types of borders can be applied to the page.
Indent:- These tools are used to alter the indentation of whole paragraphs or blocks of text. Thee indentations can be on either the left or the right-hand side of the page Increasing the indentation on the left-hand side of the paragraph will “move” the text further towards the centre of the page. Conversely , moving the right – hand side indentation will “move” the text further towards the centre of the page.
Position:-We can change the positions of our Shapes
Bring to Front:- Bring an object to the front of the stack: On the Home tab in the Arrange group, click the arrow next to or under Bring Forward, and then click Bring to Front.

Text Wrapping
In Line With Text:- Shapes can be in line with textSquare:-Shapes can be Square
Tight :- Shapes Can be Tight
Behind Text:- Shapes Can be Behind Text

Top and Bottom :-Shapes Can be Top and Bottom
Edit Wrap Points:- Shapes Can be Edit Wrap Points
Align Left:-Shapes Can be Align Left
Align Center:- Shapes Can be Align Center
Align Right :- Shapes Can be Align Right
Align Top:- Shapes Can be Align Top
Align Middle :-Shapes Can be Align Middle
Align Bottom:- Shapes Can be Align Botttom
Distribute Horizontally:- Shapes can be Distribute Horizontally
Distribute Vertically :-Shapes can be Distribute Vertically
View Gridlines:- View gridlines can be applied on the page
Grid Settings :- Can set grid
Group:- To group several objects, select all objects you want to group by pressing Ctrl or Shift and clicking every of these objects:
Regroup:- A super handy trick after you’ve grouped and then ungrouped your objects is that you can easily regroup them. The best part is that you don’t have to click each one.Simply select one of the objects that was in the group and go to the Layout tab once more. Click “Group” and select “Regroup.”
Ungroup:- To ungroup pictures, go to Picture Format or Picture Tools Format > Group > Ungroup.
Rotate:- Select the picture or shape.Manually rotate the text box by selecting the shape or picture rotation handle and dragging in the direction you want. To keep the rotation to 15 degree angles, press and hold Shift while you drag the rotation handle.
